Why a homeschool Co-Op?
After 15 years working in public education and raising three daughters, Kristy has seen firsthand how a smaller, more personalized learning environment can make a huge difference. Homeschooling gives families flexibility, but it can feel isolating. A co-op solves that by creating a community where children can learn from different teaching styles, engage in group activities, and gain social experiences—while parents remain the directors of their children’s education.
How We Work
Parent-Led Education – Curriculum choices remain the responsibility of each family. The co-op does not enforce a set curriculum.
Experiential & Social Learning – We provide opportunities for group activities, hands-on projects, and peer interaction that complement at-home studies.
Tutoring & Supplemental Support – Parents (and other adults) bring their skills and talents to offer tutoring, workshops, and guidance in a variety of subjects.
Shared Responsibility – Per Montana state law and HSLDA guidelines, guardians are ultimately responsible for their child’s education. The co-op is here to support, not replace, that role.
A Note About Our Approach: While this is not a school, and parents remain the directors of their child’s instruction, the co-op may grow and evolve over time. For now, our focus is on building a safe, supportive environment where homeschooling families can learn, connect, and thrive together.
